I offer traditional 1:1 counselling sessions in my office, for those folk, who acknowledge that the outdoors thing is not their cup of tea.
Are you stressed out, anxious, always rushing about and feeling overwhelmed by the demands on you within your life. Someone always needs something from you - the kids, partners, ageing parents, friends, family. You would like things to be different, You would like to be less stressed, calmer and happier - but you do not know where to start or even if making change is really possible.
Well you have come to the right place because I have been there and I can help you feel better about you and your life.
I am an experiential therapist who draws on an integrative approach. I am a psychodynamic therapist and draw on different mediums to assit clients work through the issues that they bring. My therapy modalities are person centred and include elements of CBT, mindfulness, narrative therapy, attachment, expressive, somatic and often experiential. This means I will encourage you to do more than just talk about how you are feeling. In session, we will often develop strategies for you to use outside of therapy. Often we will practice these strategies to ensure that you are comfortable with them.
The way in which we work together will be developed in collaboration so that it meets your needs and addresses the issues that brought you into counselling.
