Studies have shown that spending time outside has a profound impact on our internal landscape.
As well as offering a relaxed environment to slow down, calm our minds and reset our nervous systems, the natural world can make us healthier and happier. Spending time outside improves our mood and stress levels, makes us more creative and empathetic, and helps us to manage negative thoughts. We don’t need to go on epic hikes for these results – even time in a city park can deeply restore us.
Move your body, learn new skills, and discover just how capable you are.
Just like life, nature is beautiful but it can also be challenging. It offers a chance to expand our comfort zones – from testing hikes to making fire to camping solo. And as we learn more about it, we learn more about ourselves – that deep down we have the answers, we are profoundly capable, and we all belong to something bigger and more beautiful than we imagined.
I'm a qualified counsellor and mental health social worker with over a decade’s experience.
In a world of digital overload, climate uncertainty and ever-increasing pressures, it’s no surprise that self-doubt and anxiety can creep into our lives.
But whatever your personal challenges are – intrusive negative thoughts, feeling unsure about what you want out of life, struggling to connect, or something else entirely – I want you to know that with the right tools and support, you are more than capable of managing them.
We each have our own path towards feeling whole and healed, but you don’t need to travel yours alone.
I’m here to walk with you – and to offer the time, space, tools, and support – for you to find your own answers and create a life you love.
Now you just need to take the first step
